This Amazing Vacation Home truly represents a unique design concept that can accommodate a steep slope, often the case in many areas of BC. This example is built in Hemlock Valley Ski Resort, the closest ski resort to Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. It is located between Mission and Aggassiz. [ view construction photos ]

This project was built as six modules, completed in Shelter Industries’ factory, while the site foundations were simultaneously constructed in 8 short weeks. The modules were transported by truck to the site, and assembled in one day, weather proof and ready for the walk through. Because of the snow pack in Hemlock Valley, the decks were covered, but spacious open decks are appropriate for other areas such as Mayne Island.
