Gallery - Care Facilities

Kon has designed a number of unique care facilities for The Salvation Army where special needs housing is required. Extended care units for several B.C. hospitals and Burnaby's Finnish Canadian Rest Home on Canada Way were all designed with a unique blend of functionality and inviting spaces. Feasibility studies are underway for seniors' complexes in Delta and Surrey.

"The Homestead" facility for women and the men's facility at "The Valley of Miracles" are but two examples of such projects.

The Salvation Army's men's facility at "The Valley of Miracles" has been described as looking like an alpine village, but was accomplished with a very limited budget and yet included everything on the wish list.
